We can see that everyone is wearing a smile. Except Steve and he is just hiding his.
In the top picture, everyone looks so cool. Ann is practicing her pose for her summer job coming up. Say where are those pictures, Ann?Skinny Elizabeth (after 2 babies) and delightful Steve.
apparently the gates had bit the dust
Did Steve do in the gate as he backed out of the yard in the pickup?
By this time the gates had become a nuisance. The cars were no longer being parked in the "garage", but were being parked where it shows in the photos. We were no longer trying to keep the neighbors animals out, or our animals in, and these gates just became nonfunctional. Funny thing is the gates over by the shop never went into this kind of disrepair. I don't remember Steve hitting anything that solid.Elizabeth, is your car the Corvair?Judy, the clothes I am wearing I had made because I saw a movie and the heroine was wearing something similar. Ah, vanity. Note the LARGE flower earrings. They were very stylish.
Yes, it was the white Corvair, which cost $2,000, and which I loved to drive. However, it proved to be unsafe, and after that, became a little blue Nash Rambler station wagon. And it is nice to remember that I was skinny at one time. Not enough to do these days, I guess.
So Ann. Where are your formal pictures of your summer of working away from home?
